8. Adore the Benang Kelambu and Benang Stokel Waterfalls

The name of Benang Kelambu derives from the curtains of water through trees and green plants as it falls down the pool below. Imagine such a view, and you can even swim in the pool at the base of a waterfall. You can also visit Benang Stokel waterfalls, its twin that is only located 1 kilometer away!
9. Tanjung Aan Lombok
Tanjung Aan is another perfect spot to sunbathe, swimming, surfing, snorkeling, and relaxing all in one dreamy place. This paradise is made of hills surrounding two bays and beaches completed with soft white grains. Along the calm shore is dotted with restaurants serving fresh local delicacies and refreshments.
10. Celebrate Bau Nyale Festival
Bau Nyale Festival is a tradition dated back to the 16th century where the locals harvest Palolo sea worms (Nyale worm). It celebrates King Tonjang Baru’s daughter named Princess Mandalika that ruled kingdom in South Lombok Island. The legend says that Princess Mandalika jumps into the sea to avoid forced marriage with the princes who wished to marry her. The worm is believed to be the embodiment of Princess Mandalika.
